Steve Magarry is the Chief Executive Officer of Sydney Rum Distillery, leading an ambitious future for Australian Rum with a global market focus.
Operating out of the historic Oak Milk factory in Muswellbrook. The revitalised facility has capacity to produce up to 3 million litres of alcohol per annum across multiple column and pot still configurations.
Steve is an international Spirits Competition judge and Asia Pacific region sugarcane/rum industry historian. Current CIBD CPD includes General Certificate of Packaging and Diploma of Distilling. He has delivered conference session seminars at multiple industry conferences including the CIBD Asia Pacific conferences, International Society of Sugar Cane Technologists and Mondial Du Rhum.
